IT Asset Management Executive | Contract

Work location - Ang Mo Kio 12 months renewable contract role on agency payroll. Key Responsibilities: - Provide IT asset management services to both internal and external clients, collaborating closely with asset owners, finance, and the fixed asset team. - Maintain accurate and timely updates of internal and customer IT asset inventories. - Track all hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, renewal, and disposal. - Perform reconciliation between discovery tools and the IT Asset Inventory System to ensure asset data accuracy and completeness. - Manage and monitor software, hardware, and maintenance renewal trackers to prevent any lapse in service or license compliance. - Generate monthly detailed and summary reports for clients, including software license utilization and billing reports. - Participate in software optimization initiatives to identify unused or redundant licenses, supporting cost reduction goals. - Prepare weekly, monthly, and management-level reports covering asset, software, and cost accountability data. - Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and IT Operations teams to support business reporting and decision-making. - Conduct daily stand-up meetings to identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring service quality and process efficiency. - Assist with IT asset procurement processes, including vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase order management, and delivery tracking. - Ensure proper documentation and tagging of all procured IT equipment. - Support the evaluation of vendors and negotiate for cost-effective and quality procurement. Qualifications and Requirements: - Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2–5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Procurement, or IT Operations. - Strong knowledge of asset management systems, software license tracking, and IT hardware lifecycle management. - Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, or similar ITAM systems. - Proficient in MS Excel and reporting dashboards. - Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Preferred Skills: - ITIL certification or familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles. - Experience working in a managed services or large enterprise environment. - Understanding of financial and audit processes related to IT assets.
